The episode begins with Jeffery, Mikey and Sophie stopping at a bank near their house.
Sophie: I need to make a deposit here for a check I have.
They all go into the bank, but then Jeffery sees Janet Johnson's dad, Bill Johnson, at the front desk. They all go to a machine to deposit the check. When they were about to exit, Jeffery asks something.
Jeffery: Can I stay a little longer?
Mikey & Sophie: Sure, but you'll have to walk home which will take 5 minutes.
Jeffery: No problem, I'm ok with that!
Jeffery immediately runs over to Bill Johnson's desk
Jeffery: How's it going... Mr. Johnson, I believe.
Bill Johnson: Get lost kid I'm busy.
Jeffery: I want to go out with your daughter! (covers mouth)
Bill Johnson: (yells) You will never go out with my daughter, do you hear me!?
Jeffery then gets an idea, and a cartoon lightbulb appears over his head.
Jeffery: Hey Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill!
Bill Johnson: Would you stop that, and don't call me Bill!
Jeffery: Hey Bill, watch this; lalalalalalalala!
Bill Johnson: That's the last straw! And please stop annoying me!
Jeffery: Only if you let me go out with Janet.
Bill Johnson: Alright, I'll let you go out with her! Just leave the bank, ok!?
Jeffery gladly leaves the bank and heads home. The screen then transitions to Jeffery standing outside of the Munroe house. Jeffery walks in, and finds out that Mikey have already prepared lunch for him and for Lizzi, who is already at the table eating.
Mikey and Sophie: Hey Jeffery! Come sit down and eat lunch with us!
Jeffery walks over to the table and sits down He waits a few seconds until he tells them about something.
Jeffery: Hey mom and dad, I got date with a girl named Janet Johnson!
Lizzi: You got a date with a girl named 'Jelly Johnson?' Haha!
Mikey and Sophie: Stop it Lizzi!
Sophie: That's wonderful, Jeffery.
Mikey then flashbacks to when he got his first date with Sophie, until Jeffery interrupts.
Jeffery: How do I act towards girls on a date?
Mikey: Well, when I went on my first date with Sophie (hugs Sophie), I was just being myself, and took a few tips from Bunsen!
Jeffery gets a text from Janet that reads "Wow, I never thought my dad would let us go on a date. Meet you at the Muckledunk Restaurant at 6:00 P.M.!"
Jeffery: Thanks for the advice, and I have to get ready now. Jeffery: Thanks for the advice guys. Now I have to get ready for my date!
